AS Baltic RE Group is a real estate comapny active un Riga, Latvia, since 2008.

Currently, the Group is one of the largest lessors and management companies of all-purpose and high quality commercial premises in Riga city center. The Group’s real estate portfolio consists of six properties in Riga of the total gross building area (GBA) over 30,500 m2, and the net leasable area (NLA) over 28,500 m2. In the Group’s history there were several property sale transactions which often determined a new benchmark in the market. The Group currently continues to manage sold properties – with a total gross building area (GBA) over 7,500 m2 – for third party investors (buyers).

Baltic RE Group is also qualified to handle real estate management services for every Client. Realization of Baltic RE Group activities is carried out in collaboration with a selected group of partners of international caliber based on high service quality and international credibility. Therefore, the most qualified operators on the market cooperate with the company to cover the four main consultant areas that support the company: valuation and due diligence; technical due diligence and reports; property and facility management; legal and contractual assistance.

Our approach is based on the main objective is to maximize the long term value of the investment.

As a strategic view, Baltic RE Group is setting in Latvia a completely new vision of the retail market.

Due to the location of all the owned property in so a small cluster (the Old Town of Riga), we manage our building as a sole shopping mall, even if spread.

For a concept so new, we have designed a new logo, the winking white rabbit, expressing confidence in achieving something that was not there before.

Giovanni Dalla Zonca

Chairperson of the Board, CEO and co-founder of Baltic RE Group

Graduated with honours in economics from the University of Trieste (Italy), Giovanni Dalla Zonca has extensive experience in real estate consulting and entrepreneurship. He worked for many years as a financial consultant for the real estate industry, and was the founder and CEO of Renta, an important Italian sales network of real estate loans issued by leading international financial institutions. Giovanni Dalla Zonca worked as a strategic consultant for over 10 years with leading Italian private and institutional investors in the retail real estate sector, assisting clients in the selection of investments, and in preparing financing and turnaround projects. The further results in international real estate development allowed Giovanni Dalla Zonca to found Baltic RE Group in 2007 to enhance its experience on emerging markets with high growth potential in the retail sector. Giovanni is the Honorary Member of the Latvian Real Estate Association, and represents the Company in the Baltic Chapter of the International Real Estate Federation FIABCI, i. g. FIABCI-Baltic; he is widely recognized as a leading real estate expert in the high street retail in the Baltic countries and in that capacity participated as a speaker in several international industry conferences.

Marco Chioatto

Member of the Board, CFO and co-founder of Baltic RE Group

Graduated from the University of Economics in Venice (Italy), Marco Chioatto is Certified Chartered Accountant in Italy. From 1998 to 2004 he held the position of Director and Vice President of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in Triveneto (the Italian northern-eastern region), Italy. Marco worked as an independent auditor for companies in the northern-eastern region of Italy and in Milan and held the position of a chief financial officer in the consulting industry managing (since 1992) his italian consultancy firm: Studio Associato Cantoni & Chioatto. Having worked as a consultant in the real estate area both in Italy and European countries, providing advice in transactions for real estate purchase and participating in managing real estate companies, in 2007 he co-founded Baltic RE Group. Marco Chioatto cooperates with international consulting companies to give consultations in high street investment valuation to financial institutions.

Dina Abaja

Member of the Board

Graduated from the International Commercial University (Latvia), Dina Abaja has more than 8 year’s experience in managing high-end real estate. As a managing director of a successful property and facility management company, Dina was responsible for the full property management of asset class buildings, coordinating areas as reconstructions, finance supervision, property marketing, advertising and consulting. Her extensive experience enabled her to provide quality real estate market review, success in searching for new tenants, and development of the concepts of buildings.
